The CZ 457 Royal lives up to its name with a wide array of accuracy and performance enhancing features. The 457 Royal comes standard with a Turkish walnut stock that features an American-style high comb and decorative checkering on the grip. The stock’s fore-end has an ornate tip, and is considerably longer than most modern .22 lr rifles, giving the 457 Royal an attractive appearance reminiscent of the early rimfire rifles. The 457 Royal’s bolt features a 60-degree throw, this was chosen to increase scope compatibility especially on scopes with a larger ocular bell and lower ring heights. Under the recommendation of US Hunter’s Education instructors and 4-H shooting coaches, the 457 Royal is outfitted with an American-style push-to-fire safety – a configuration that American shooters are more accustom to. In addition, the 457 Royal features a fully adjustable trigger, and an 11mm dovetail for installing optics.
